I was born and raised along Bayou Barataria, just south of New Orleans. My Dad, as well as my grandparents each owned their own skiff, which they used to catch thousands of pounds of fresh shrimp throughout the years. I grew up helping them out on the boat any chance I could get. And when I wasn’t helping my family on the boats, I was out fishing for redfish and speckled trout just for fun. I’ve always loved being out on the open waters. If you ask me, there’s nothing more peaceful than that.  It wasn’t until the year 2000 that I was lucky enough to begin my career as a licensed USCG Charter Boat Captain.

I was finally able to share my passion of fishing and the love of the outdoors with others and teach them what I have learned throughout the many years I have spent along the bayou. It’s such a great feeling to see someone hook one of those nice reds and land them in the boat for their first time. These redfish down here seem to really put up a fight!
